Methodology
The Flyer Fitness methodology is designed to encompass all the necessary fitness components to help you not just reach your goals, but surpass them. All programs begin with focused exercises to create efficient movement patterns to build a new understanding of control within the neurological system of your body.
Throughout the program, we explore any physical limitations you may have, and work to improve mobility & flexibility across all joints. Once you have this new control and mobility, focus will be on increasing strength where necessary. Your understanding is further developed to learn how to use this new found control, mobility, and strength into training for power, agility and grace!
Modalities and Tools
Our goal is to help you reach your movement potential. In doing so, a variety of different forms of exercise, equipment, and tools may be used to educate you and your body to be the best it can be.
Pilates
The Pilates Philosophy, equipment and repertoire may be used to create the mind-body connection necessary to build strength from the inside-out.
TRX
A very useful tool to transition your body from the ground to the air, a TRX (suspension system) may be incorporated into your training program. This versatile piece can help you transfer your internal strength into functional movement for your specific goals.
Weight Training
Weights may be utilized to add a stress within your body, allowing you to increase muscle strength and/or size.
KettleBell
KettleBells are a uniquely shaped weight, which challenge you to control its center of gravity through static and/or dynamic movement. Kettlebells provide you the ability to add explosive power, with control, to your training.
Aerial Fitness
Aerial apparatus may be utilized for specific skill based training and conditioning, to educate your body how to respond to the challenges that may be present while you are in the air.

You and your coach will determine the best tools necessary so you can enjoy the process to reaching your goals. In addition to the above mentioned, other forms of movement practice may be incorporated into your program, including, but not limited to the use of props, focused meditation, education, and/or massage, to help you fly higher than ever before!
